These standards describe how Dragon Gaming PCs writes, checks and maintains its monitor coverage. They apply to buying guides, explainers, setup guides and troubleshooting articles alike.

Independence Comes First

Our editors decide what to cover and how to rank it. Monitor brands, retailers and advertisers have no say in our conclusions, and they do not see articles before publication.

No Paid Rankings

Brands cannot pay to be included in a list, to move up a list, or to have a competitor removed. We do not run sponsored rankings. If we ever publish sponsored material of any kind, it will be clearly labeled as such and kept separate from our recommendations.

What Counts as a Source

Primary sources come first: manufacturer spec sheets, manuals and firmware notes. For performance data such as response times, input lag or HDR brightness, we rely on independent display measurement labs and hardware review sites. Owner reports on forums and verified-purchase reviews are used for durability and quality-control patterns, never as the sole basis for a spec.

No number is published without a source behind it. When two labs disagree, for example on peak brightness or gray-to-gray response times, we say so, explain any difference in settings or methods, and lean toward the more conservative figure.

Our Use of AI

AI tools help us outline articles, organize research and produce first drafts. People edit the result and verify every fact. AI is never allowed to invent specs, measurements or results, and anything it produces that cannot be traced to a source is cut.

Conflicts of Interest

We earn affiliate commissions on some purchases, which we disclose on every page that contains such links. We currently do not accept review units in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, or if a brand relationship exists that could affect an article, we will disclose it in that article.

How Often We Update

Core buying guides are reviewed on a regular schedule and whenever new models, firmware changes or meaningful price moves make a recommendation outdated. Each update carries a revision date.

Corrections

We fix factual errors as soon as they are confirmed. To report one, send us a message with the page and the details.
